Brink Notes Podcast Network is a collection of podcasts owned and produced by Jeric Peña, a 19-year-old college student from Manila, Philippines. Brink Notes Podcast Network started with the launch of Jeric Peña’s first podcast show, Jeric’s Confessions, on September 5, 2005. He was only 14 years old then and armed only with a cheap microphone and a desktop computer.

Brink Notes Podcast Network podcast shows are often “magazine podcast shows” wherein there are different segments to tackle various topics and issues—from technology, entertainment and to infinity. This was first introduced in Jeric’s Confessions and was later adopted in other Brink Notes Podcast Network shows including Brink Notes Podcast and Brink Notes Entertainment Daily Podcast.

Brink Notes Podcast Network is based in Manila, Philippines.

Jeric’s Confessions

Jeric’s Confessions is a podcast that tackles technology, music, interesting and cool websites, videos games and other topics that interests the youth. The first episode of Jeric’s Confessions was uploaded on September 5, 2005. Jeric’s Confessions is one the first few Philippine-based podcasts.

Brink Notes Podcast

Brink Notes Podcast is a podcast pretty similar to Jeric’s Confessions that also tackles various topics from entertainment to technology. This podcast was produced in 2006 and was hosted by Jeric Peña.

Pinoy Idol Podcast

Pinoy Idol Podcast is a commentary podcast on the GMA-7 reality television series, “Pinoy Idol,” the Philippine franchise of the hit Idol show. This podcast features a recap of each episode together with the host’s commentary / opinion.

Brink Notes Entertainment Daily Podcastis an award-winning podcast that will bring to you the brink of what’s happening on the Philippine Entertainment world and Hollywood. Brink Notes Entertainment Daily Podcast won the Best Podcast Blog award during the 2009 Philippine Blog Awards.

The Stations of the Cross

The Stations of the Cross is a podcast that was produced as part of the E-Visita Iglesia project of the Brink Notes Podcast Network. This podcast features a reading of the Sacred Scripture and prayers for each station. This podcast was produced in 2010 in time for Lent.

EDUC Today

Educ Today is a 30-minute weekly podcast  that discusses and explains different educational issues affecting the teachers and students of today. From choosing your degree program to deciding whether to pursue a doctoral degree, this podcast is for everyone interested in becoming informed and educated on innovations and issues involving the academe. EDUC Today Theme is by Charlie Crowe while the bumper music is by Kevin MacLeod.

Jeric Peña is an eighteen-year-old blogger and a second year college student at the University of the Philippines Open University. Jeric has been blogging since 2003. In 2005, he started producing audio podcast shows. His first audio podcast show was Jeric’s Confessions (2005) followed by Brink Notes Podcast(2007), Pinoy Idol Podcast (2008) and Brink Notes Entertainment Daily Podcast (2009). His podcast, Brink Notes Entertainment Daily Podcast was awarded as the Best Podcast during the2009 Philippine Blog Awards.
