The open letter to Mr. Laurenti Dyogi and the rest of the PBB Management coming from a concerned viewer is posted after the “read more”
Dear ABS-CBN, PBB2 Director Laurenti and Pinoy Kuya-Big-Brother,
I am a regular viewer of Pinoy Big Brother 2. I decided to join your ABS-CBN forum as I wanted a venue by which to reach you and let you know the big disappointment I currently feel for your show.
I’ve noticed that this season’s PBB show, forums and blogs have been primarily dominated by Wendy Valdez. I’ve read everywhere that Wendy is actually your pet and your pick to be the winner of this show. When I first read this, I tried to disregard it thinking that perhaps these blogs and posts were written by fans of the other housemates.
However, as your show progressed, these blogs and posts were proven accurate and right. I looked back at the threads, the web pages created for PBB2 and saw that Wendy Valdez would have about 3-4 pictures whereas some of the female housemates, for instance Dionne, did not even have one photo. And those are only the females, for the poor males it was worst.
I also noticed that your cameramen’s favorite is Wendy which is quite irritating specially if a viewer is trying to look for other housemates (their faves) and all they get is quick camera sweep of that housemate enough to only see either their backs or perhaps a quick glance of the face if one is lucky.
But I still tried to be patient and figured maybe it’s a fluke of sorts. But once again, continued viewing proved that this was not a fluke. No luck whatsoever in getting airtime for my favorite housemates.
However lately I have reached my breaking point when all I see your production crew show on TV (and 24X7; Live Stream) and publish on your website is the Wendy-Bruce loveteam. Of course, Wendy, the camera-hog that she is plays, on this by forcing herself to cry (crocodile tears) perhaps to elicit votes from the PBB viewers. Frankly, your production crew, website development/update crew and publicity people are totally out of control. I am not sure what to think of this == do all these horny guys have the hots for this so-very-fake housemate == or perhaps it is the station’s plan that she really be the ultimate winner just like what I’ve read in the blogs & forums for PBB2.
So I’m wondering == if your mind is already made-up as proven by your outright bias and favoritism for Wendy == why have the contest at all??? This is not a real version of Big Brother. Is this a test-drive of sorts to see if your new discovery, as bad as she is, will be accepted by the Filipino viewers?
So Bruce left == boo-hoo-hoo == snap out of it already Wendy and get over it afterall isn’t this girl supposed to have a “boyfriend” outside or is that a gimmick as well. I did not see her shed tears (indicating she missed him) for this so-called boyfriend when she entered PBB2 house and one would think she would miss this boyfriend too if she is that much of an emotional-wreck. What the heck is going on here?????
My friends and family members who have been following your show and I, have been talking via e-mail and we have decided that we will wait for another week to see if you will notice the error of your ways and start giving some camera time to the other housemates, both female and male. If not, I’m sure we are just a minority ==.but sad as it sounds, and we know we will miss the different housemates we are rooting for == we will no longer patronize your show and your website because we feel that we have just been taken for a ride with all this voting and for some of our friends and family in the UK, Italy, Australia and the US, it was an obvious waste of dollars == voting for our favorite housemates when your station executives have obviously made up your minds and picked Wendy and Bruce to be your winners.
My heart goes out to the other housemates that do their best in competing in a clean fashion hoping and thinking there is an actual contest like they were promised. You have several very good housemates still in the house == one unfortunately was evicted, Kian. Please give these kids a fair chance and a leveled playing ground.
I know that in a couple of days you will have a visitor from Slovenia but I sincerely hope that your production crew will give equal air time to the other very much deserving housemates and redeem yourselves from your very disappointing behavior that has been exhibited as of late.

we plan to boycott PBB 2 here in the UAE for the obvious reason that Big Brother and his staff are just airing selected scenes (from the so called 24/7 PBB2)where their babe with no proper breeding (Wendy)is being featured. They are not objective and fair. “Malaking kalokohan ang PBB 2 and malinaw na pandaraya at panlilinlang lang sa mga manonood”.
